Australia defeated India by two wickets in the second ODI in Adelaide to take an unassailable lead of 2-0 in a three-match ODI series. Chasing a target of 265 runs, Australia were left in a tricky situation but Cooper Connolly held his nerves till the end and took his team down the winning line.
Connolly scored an unbeaten 61* runs off 53 balls as Australia chased the winning target in 46.2 overs losing eight wickets. Looking at his knock, Connolly can turn out to be hot pick in the upcoming IPL auction. It will be interesting to see which IPL teams will bid for Cooper Connolly in the upcoming IPL auction.
