They say catches win matches and Axar Patel proved it in the semi-final match between India and England. In an extremely high scoring match, Axar provided India with two wickets by just taking brilliant catches. He first took the catch of Harry Brook running behind and later followed it up with an even better effort to dismiss Jacks at the boundary. Those two catches played a big part in India winning the semi-final.
3.Ishan Kishan 77 against Pakistan
India were in trouble against Pakistan having lost Abhishek Sharma cheaply but Ishan Kishan took the attack to the bowlers and smashed a quick-fire half century. Kishan made 77 runs off just 40 balls and almost won India the match in the first 10 overs. After the dismissal of Kishan no other batter could score which just shows how much of an impact that knock had on a tough pitch.

In a high scoring semi-final fixture between England and India, the only difference between the two teams in the end was Bumrah. England were right in the game chasing a target of 254. Bumrah picked up the wicket of Brook early and when England were cruising the chase, Bumrah conceded just 14 runs in his two overs at the death which made the difference as India won.
