We are all aware of the kind of explosive batting that RR top order has been delivering since the advent of IPL 2026 with likes of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has revealed his pep talk with team mate Yashasvi Jaiswal in the dressing room after Rajasthan Royal were sent to bat by Sunrisers Hyderabad in Jaipur.

“Jab hum toss jeet kar andar gaye toh Yash bhai ne bola, “Vaibhav aaj jake marte hai yaar”

Haa aaj jake marte hain.Aaj kuch nhi karege bas chakka marege.(When we won the toss Yashavi Jaiswal said let’s go out and attack today to that I replied yes let’s do that, Let us only hit sixes today” Sooryavanshi revealed this dressing room chat with opening partner Sooryavanshi.

Although Yashasvi Jaiswal got out just for 10 runs, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi didn’t deviate from his promise he scored 103 off 37 with 12 sixes hitting his 2nd IPL ton only at the age of 15. Although RR put up 228 on board the total was easily chased by SRH.

Pat Cummins reveals Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is his “new favourite player”

Scoring a 100, hitting sixes or quickfire innings is nothing new for 15 year old sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. Last match against SRH he fell to a duck on Praful Hinge’s bowling but last day he was determined to play a blistering knock in his usual aggressive intent. And he scored 103 off 37 balls and also 1000 T20I runs completed in just 473 balls. Vibhav has a lot of admirers in cricket fraternity but the latest one is Australian Pat Cummins.

After RR vs SRH match Pat Cummins revealed, “ Yeah I think he is my new favourite player. He hits the ball so hard, It is good and fun to watch. He’s had a great start to his career. I love the way he plays. Takes the game on.”

With Vaibhav’s current form, a lot of fans have predicted that he will soon debut for the Indian Cricket Team in the upcoming T20I against Ireland, where most seniors might be rested. What do you guys think?
