Punjab Kings fast-bowler has landed himself in hot waters over his racial remarks against Mumbai Indians’ batter Tilak Varma. Notably, both Kings and the Indians will lock horns in the 58th league-stage clash of the IPL 2026 at the serene HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala on Thursday, May 14. Ahead of the match, a video has gone viral on social media, where the Punjab bowler was seen mocking and making racial comments against Varma.

In the video, Singh could be heard calling Varma Andhere (dark), and asking him if he had worn sunscreen. Not only this, but he was also seen later comparing Tilak’s skin colour with that of Naman Dhir’s and asking him the meaning of his name. While Varma took Singh’s comments as a joke, he could be seen getting a bit awkward for the same. The video was uploaded on the fast bowler’s Snapchat account.
