The Delhi Capitals have just posted a video on X with the players testing their reflexes by catching a falling scale and the post was captioned, “Day 49 of trying to figure out what David Miller isn’t good at! “. All the players were struggling to catch the scale quickly with the young sensation Madhav Tiwari even failing to catch the scale. Meanwhile, David Miller emerged victorious with his quick reflexes as he caught it at 2cm. But, some of the RCB fans have been furious in the comment section as well.
The inclusion of the number 49 in the title would seem like an obvious dig at the defending champions considering even the Punjab Kings had done a similar tweet early in the season. However, that is not the case as this has been a series of vlog by the Delhi Capitals team and this is numerically the 49th day of the vlog. It is clearly misleading and is obviously subject to misinterpretation but it is quite clear that the admin hasn’t intended on taking an obvious dig at the in-form RCB.
Delhi’s playoff chances hang by a thread as Madhav Tiwari’s all-round impact powered the side to victory against PBKS
The Delhi Capitals won their previous encounter against the Punjab Kings and they will be hoping that they can win a couple more on the trot. The addition of Madhav Tiwari has benefited the squad big time as he was handy with the ball and the bat. He took the two crucial wickets of Priyansh Arya and Cooper Connolly in the first innings and went on to score 18 off 8 balls during the run chase in the second innings. Madhav will be confident that he can carry his form forward and help his team win a couple more games.
The highlight of the run chase would be the middle order contributions from David Miller and Axar Patel as they were instrumental in the run chase. The Delhi Capitals would be under immense pressure to win every game from here on in and they will be hoping that every one of their players will be on top of their game as they head into the business end of the IPL.
