The Barsapara stadium is situated in Guwahati. It is home to Rajasthan Royals in the IPL and Assam in the domestic circuit. This stadium has witnessed less IPL games but recently there have been quite a few games and the atmosphere are wonderful.
It was established in 2012 and has been an excellent venue having hosted its first game in IPL in 2023. The surface here is a balanced one which produces some excellent cricket. The first ever IPL match played at this venue was on 5th April 2023 and there have been six IPL matches played at this stadium till date.
