Ben Duckett – England

Ben Duckett has been a reliable player at the top of the order and 2025 was no different. The left-hander amassed 699 runs in nine matches at an average of 43.

Joe Root - England

Mitchell Starc is the leading wicket-taker in this format in 2025. He has picked up 51 wickets in 10 matches and has won multiple player of the match awards. He has also contributed with his batting lower down the order.

Simon Harmer – South Africa

Simon Harmer made his return to the South African Test side after a long gap. He picked up 30 wickets in just 4 matches and helped South Africa level the series 1-1 in Pakistan. He was player of the series against India helping the South Africa whitewash India 2-0.

Mohammed Siraj- India

Mohammad Siraj has been a work horse and he delivered a marathon performance in the England series where he not only played all the 5 Tests but also performed very well. In this year he has picked up 43 wickets in 10 Test matches.

Jasprit Bumrah – India

Jasprit Bumrah has scalped 31 wickets in 8 Test this year. He has shown once again that he is amongst the best in the World and he was outstanding for India throughout the year. He picked up 3 five wicket-haul with his best bowling being 5/27.
