In a sea of just bad news for the CSK fans, they are in for some good news as their most anticipated young player Dewald Brewis will be back in the squad in the match against the Delhi Capitals tomorrow. Meanwhile, MS Dhoni will most likely make a comeback from his calf injury on April 14.
The young South African batter has been declared fully fit following a side strain. He is expected to make his season debut in the home match against Delhi Capitals tomorrow, April 11, 2026.

Will CSK make a comeback with their superstars returning?
CSK is currently sitting at the bottom of the IPL 2026 table after three consecutive losses.Brevis, known as "Baby AB," is expected to slot into the middle order to provide much-needed aggression. In his debut CSK season (2025), he scored 225 runs at a massive 180 strike rate.
Dhoni's absence has been cited as a major factor in CSK's tactical struggles. The team has lost seven of their last eight matches played without him across several seasons. His return is expected to stabilize the lower order, where he typically provides high-impact finishing with a strike rate often exceeding 200.
In Dhoni’s absence, CSK is being led by their skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad and the newly traded player from RR, Sanju Samson but the ride in the past three matches has not been smooth for the team as they have lost all three of them. They can only hope to get the former captain’s guidance to help them have a smooth ride in the next half of the tournament.
