His teammates, led by captain Rishabh Pant, swarmed him in celebration as RR slumped to 32/3.

Riyan Parag and Shimron Hetmyer to stabilise innings after batting collapse
Following a rapid collapse where Rajasthan Royals (RR) lost three wickets for zero runs in the span of seven deliveries, Riyan Parag and Shimron Hetmyer began a steady rebuilding phase. As of the 9th over, the pair has stabilized the score to 61/3, maintaining a partnership of 29 runs from 28 balls. After a series of dot balls from Mohammed Shami and Mohsin Khan, Parag relieved the pressure by smashing Mayank Yadav for a massive six over deep square leg in the 7th over.In the 8th over, Hetmyer narrowly survived a direct hit run-out attempt from Aiden Markram, with the replay showing he was safe by the barest of margins.
Shami remains the biggest threat, having already dismantled the top order with 2/24 in his opening burst, including the wickets of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel on consecutive balls.
