The 2016 T20 World Cup semi-final between England and the West Indies was played at Eden Gardens, where the world saw the dominance of the West Indies in the shortest format of the game. When the West Indies needed 19 runs off the last over, Carlos Brathwaite smashed 4 back-to-back sixes off Ben Stokes and won the World Cup for the West Indies.

India vs Australia: Iconic 2001 Test Match (Historic Comeback)

If anyone discusses the top Test match comebacks, then the 2001 India vs Australia Test match played at the Eden Gardens will be there. In this game, Australia scored 445 runs in the first inning, and India got all out on 171. India followed on and still won the match.
