England skipper Harry Brook came up with a 21-ball 50 as the side chased the target of 159 against India. Both sides came up against each other in the second-last of the five-game T20I series in Bristol as the Indian side aimed to keep their survival chances alive after trailing 0-2. However, India’s hopes were soon crushed with the way England took control of the game, earlier from the ball and then from the bat. After opting to bat first, Shreyas Iyer and co could manage to score 158 for 7 in 20 overs.
The visitors aimed to claw back in the second innings, but the Three Lions made absolute mockery of Indian bowling by piling up runs quickly without much setbacks. While the Indian side got early success in the form of Jos Buttler’s wicket at 8, opener Philip Salt and skipper Harry Brook stitched a steady stand for second wicket in 59 deliveries to help the side cruise beyond victory line seamlessly. While doing so, skipper Harry Brook brought his 21-ball fifty, reaching the mark with a towering six off an Axar Patel delivery.

Every Harry Brook masterclass reminds me just how priceless Bumrah's spell was in the semis. We didn't thank Bumrah enough for dismissing Brook for 7 runs off the very first ball of his spell. That Axar Patel catch was pure gold. ðŸ˜ðŸ”¥ pic.twitter.com/Zj0Df7ZbCk

It was a must win game for the Indian side to end the series with the best chance of a tie. However, with the loss, Shreyas Iyer’s woes continue as a skipper.
