It seems that the IPL has once again fulfilled its mission of making Indian talent quickly come into the national limelight. While it continues to be ruled by some well-known players, IPL 2026 has also seen some new players who made it impossible for selectors to overlook them. It would be tough to ignore the brilliant performances from both teenage batsmen and fast bowlers. Five such IPL players who should get an India call-up after their performances are mentioned below, with all of them having enough skills for international cricket.
All of these players do not base their case on just one particular inning or bowling spell. Their cases depend on the fact that these players have justified their impressive performances in domestic cricket through their IPL appearances. It will not be surprising if they get noticed soon. As India begins to shape its next generation, these five names are now firmly in contention.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi
However, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has emerged as the star of IPL 2026. The opening batsman of Rajasthan Royals, who turned 15 this season, has amassed 440 runs from just 11 games at a strike rate of 236.56, which included a blistering 103 from 36 balls against Sunrisers Hyderabad. In addition, he broke the record for scoring 400-plus runs in a single IPL season at the fastest pace. Before that, he had slammed 175 runs in the Under-19 World Cup final to end up being named as the Player of the Tournament in the event.
A knock that will be relived in history for years to come from Vaibhav Sooryavanshi in the #U19WorldCup Final 🤯 Watch his full Aramco Player of the Match highlights here 👉 https://t.co/8sFBZ1p9ak pic.twitter.com/9NIOeQYxdK

Priyansh Arya
Priyansh Arya has made the powerplay a scoring area. The Punjab Kings opening batsman has provided many explosive starts in his career, such as 93 from 37 balls versus Lucknow Super Giants and 56 versus Delhi Capitals. Arya’s knack for attacking from ball number one is unique. The Punjab Kings opening batsman has already done well in IPL 2025. In addition to being left-handed, he hits the ball cleanly and may fit into India's T20 cricket scheme.
Prince Yadav
Prince Yadav has emerged as one of the best uncapped fast bowlers this season for Lucknow Super Giants. He has taken 16 wickets in 11 matches at an average of 20.94. His most notable moment came when he bowled Virat Kohli with a sharp nip-backer. Prince combines pace, hard lengths and yorkers. That skill set gives India another seam option with strong white-ball potential.
You can measure the jump, but you simply cannot measure the emotion! 🥹 A moment Prince Yadav will remember for a lifetime ✨#TATAIPL | #KhelBindaas | #LSGvRCB | @LucknowIPL pic.twitter.com/AdBkO3Y4KW

Auqib Nabi
Auqib Nabi has not yet found success in IPL 2026, but his domestic season has been impossible to overlook. The Delhi Capitals pacer took 60 wickets in 10 Ranji Trophy matches and played a central role in Jammu and Kashmir’s title-winning campaign. In addition, he picked up 15 wickets in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and 14 wickets in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. His ability to swing the ball and contribute with the bat makes him a valuable all-round prospect.

Kartik Sharma
Kartik Sharma has been making his presence felt for Chennai Super Kings without much fanfare. The middle-order batter has already scored 153 runs in seven games, with his highest scores being an unbeaten 54 against Mumbai Indians and an unbeaten 41 against Delhi Capitals. Prior to the IPL, Kartik had amassed 445 runs in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. His coolness under pressure while batting against spinners and his penchant for closing out games make him a reliable choice for India's white-ball teams.
