Virat Kohli made headlines a few months ago by liking a random post by a German model and influencer named LizLaz. The incident immediately caught the eye of social media, and it went viral in no time. Days after the controversy, the German model revealed in an interview that after this event, many Indian Journalists contacted her and offered her money to say bad things about Virat Kohli.

Speaking to FilmyMantra, she said, “Some journalists even offered me money to say bad things about him (Virat Kohli) and make allegations he never made. But why would I do that?” “I was very happy and a little emotional about it, but I never expected something like this to happen. Some people even pressure you to say things you don't want to say,” the model added. 

The influencer made it clear that she adores Virat Kohli as a cricketer and would never do anything to defame him just for money. She also specified the fact that ‘Virat did nothing wrong’ in just liking her post.

In her interview, the German model revealed that, as in India, people were concerned and wrote ‘Who is LizLaz?’. However, a similar situation arrived in Germany too, as people were curious to know who , ‘who is Virat Kohli?’, as cricket is not the most-followed game in the country. 

She also revealed that this attention brought her a lot of brand offers and collaborations, as well as reality TV show requests. She also got an opportunity to anchor an ICC cricket match between Germany and Austria.

“I absolutely loved it. I did an interview post-match, player talks and trophy ceremony. I absolutely loved being part of the game,” the German model said. 

She also revealed that a lot of casino brands contacted her from India to promote their brand, but she didn’t choose to do anything beyond her values. Although she expressed her interest in Bollywood, saying that if she gets a role in a Bollywood movie, she would be more than happy to grab that opportunity.
