Gujarat Titans came into the IPL Mini Auction with a budget of ₹12.9 crores and signed only five players during the bidding, and refrained from picking up star players. They have retained their core from the last season and have picked some players for backups in this season. West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder was their biggest purchase in the Auction picking him up for 7 Crore. He will provide a lot of balance to that side.
Ashok Sharma from Rajasthan is another pacer capable of clocking the 150 mark. He was the leading wicket taker in SMAT with 20 wickets in nine matches. Luke Wood, a left arm seamer from England was brought for a base price of 75 Lakh. While Tom Banton adds as a backup for Jos Buttler. The wicket-keeper from England is very flexible and can slot in nicely if required. Overall there were many pacers picked up by Gujarat Titans in the Auction. They will be keen to have a great season in IPL 2026 under the leadership of Shubman Gill.
