With just a few weeks left until the start of the 2026 IPL, our focus shifts to Gujarat Titans led by Shubman Gill. They did well in the previous season but unfortunately lost in the Eliminator against Mumbai Indians. Since their debut in IPL, they have been a consistent side and have done well over the years and a key factor has been their top order batting and their pace attack. In the auction last year, Gujarat Titans went for plenty of pacers and brought them into the squad. They do have one of the strongest pace bowling attacks in IPL.

Mohammad Siraj, Prashidh Krishna and Ishant Sharma form a good Indian trio of pacers with Arshad Khan as backup. When it comes to overseas there are the likes of Kagiso Rabada and the experience of Jason Holder. So this is likely to be the core of their pace bowling attack which is set to feature in most of the game. It is a pretty strong attack and in the auction, they did a fine job in picking up more pace options to provide variety.

Rajasthan pacer Ashok Sharma who can bowl at close to 145 kmph has also been picked up by the Gujarat Titans for this upcoming season. Yarra Prthivi Raj, Gurnoon Brar provide more Indian pace bowling back up options to the side. England left-arm pacer Luke Wood has also been picked up by the Gujarat Titans side for the upcoming season. So it is safe to say they have the most pacers amongst any other team and have covered all bases.

Gujarat Titans have one of the best pace bowling attacks ahead of IPL 2026 and that is something we have seen them do in the past where they depend on the bowling to win games. Gujarat have a strong top order batters and they will hope the pacers can deliver for them in this edition. The surface at Ahmedabad will suit a lot of their pacers and they will be keen to have a great season once again under the captaincy of Gill.
