The Naman awards recently were the cynosure of all cricketing eyes from around the country but amid the fanfare and the celebrations, the festive atmosphere and the commemorations, there was also something sad, especially if you are someone who likes the famous Indian Premier League.

And without beating around the bush, must it be said that the same concerned itself with the present day state of none other than a key KKR challenger, a great talent!

India’s emerging fast bowler Harshit Rana is currently dealing with a serious injury that has unfortunately ruled him out of this year’s Indian Premier League.

The young pacer is reportedly struggling to walk properly and has been seen using a stick for support.

But having said that despite the severity of the injury, Rana still made an appearance at the prestigious Naman Awards ceremony, showing remarkable determination and commitment to the cricket community.

Visible Struggles with the Injury

According to reports and images from the event, Harshit Rana was clearly uncomfortable while moving around and required the assistance of a walking stick.

The injury appears serious enough to limit his mobility significantly, which explains why medical experts have advised him to stay away from competitive cricket for some time.

Given the physical demands of fast bowling, recovery and rehabilitation will be crucial for the young pacer.

Missing an entire season of the IPL is a significant setback, especially for a player who has been steadily rising through the ranks of Indian cricket.

However, Rana’s decision to still attend the awards ceremony highlighted his professionalism and respect for the event.
