SunRisers Hyderabad star Heinrich Klassen recorded history during the clash against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Friday, May 22. The wicketkeeper batter who was already having a remarkable season, became the first overseas batter to register double-digit scores in all 14 league stage games of a single IPL season. He achieved the feat throughout the IPL 2026 season for the SunRisers Hyderabad.
In the clash against the Royal Challengers, he walked in while the side needed 45 runs to breach the 600-run mark in the season. While doing so, he achieved something that only one player in the history of T20 cricket had ever managed before. He became the only second batter to surpass the mark in a single T20 series while batting at number four or lower in the order. Earlier, Rishabh Pant had achieved the feat as he accumulated 684 runs for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2018.
