Pakistan all-rounder Hussain Talat was stretched to Hospital after he suffered an injury to his left shoulder during the second One Day match between Pakistan and Bangladesh. This incident happened when he was trying to stop a boundary in the second innings of the match. It took place in the sixth over of the Bangladesh chase when Hussain Talat ran towards the cover boundary and tried to drag back the ball as it got close to the boundary. But unfortunately, he stepped on the foam as he touched the ball and tumbled into the advertising hoardings.

After tumbling to the hoardings, he landed heavily in his left-shoulder. On lookers rushed towards Hussain Talat before a stretcher was brought on to take him to the ambulance. After this the PCB informed in a press release that he is currently being examined and nature and extent of his injury will be determined in the due course.

The PCB press release read "Talat received immediate medical attention from the team's medical staff on the field. Following the initial assessment, he has been taken to a hospital for a detailed examination. The nature and extent of the injury will be determined after the doctors complete further medical evaluation."

Just an over after this incident the match was stopped with lightning strikes sending the players indoors and hailstorms stopping the match. Bangladesh won the opening match of the series quite comprehensively and are leading the series 1-0. Pakistan were put into bat in the second ODI and posted a score of 274 on the back of a couple of half centuries. They picked up three wickets in 6.3 overs and are right on top before this interruption. A minimum of 20 overs should be bowled for a match result to be declared and if that is not done the game will end up as a no result.
