Shreyas Iyer leads PBKS to an undefeated campaign thus far
After falling short by six runs in last year’s finale, Iyer and Co. have made a staggering comeback in the IPL 2026 season. The team which is co-owned by Bollywood actress Preity Zinta, is currently seeded at the top of the standings with nine points, owing to their four wins in five games. In their opener this season, PBKS defeated GT by three wickets before taking down the Chennai Super Kings by five wickets.
Later, their game with KKR got washed out but the team continued its winning momentum and took down the SunRisers Hyderabad by six wickets. In their most recent game, they were up against the Mumbai Indians, where PBKS emerged victorious by seven wickets.
They will now be up against Lucknow Super Giants on Sunday, April 19 at home, where they would aim to continue their winning streak.
