Fans reacted to Ravindra Jadeja's remarkable comeback in the Test format against Sri Lanka in warm-up game. The Indian test team travelled to Sri Lanka ahead of their Test series against the host nation to play a three day warm-up match before the actual series began. The Indian team management took the decision to play a practice match to make the players get comfortable with the hot and humid weather of the sub continent. It was also done to get the players familiar with the spin friendly pitches of the country which would play a crucial factor in determining the performance of the team when the test series starts in Colombo.
The practice match is being played at Colombo in the Nondescript Cricket Club Ground where the Indian team is being led by the wicketkeeper batsman KL Rahul. The Indian team was left to chase a score of 363 in the first innings, where Yashasvi Jaiswal fell for a duck while Devdutt Paddikal hit 103 before getting retired hurt. Ravindra Jadeja then tried stitching a partnership with the Gujarat Titans player, Manav Suthar. Jadeja managed to hit 63 before even he got retired hurt and left Suthar to stitch an innings with bowler Kuldeep Yadav.
