India's fielders dropped two crucial catches inside the first four overs against Bangladesh. The fielding disaster began on the fifth ball of the third over, delivered by Shree Charani. Opener Juairiya Ferdous miscued a sweep shot, but wicketkeeper Yastika Bhatia spilt the low, diving chance as she sprinted in from short fine leg.The second reprieve came at the end of the fourth over, also bowled by Shree Charani. Juairiya Ferdous hit a high, mis-timed aerial shot toward deep mid-wicket. Radha Yadav settled cleanly underneath the ball for what should have been a regulation catch but shockingly grassed the sitter. These early errors completely unraveled India's powerplay discipline.
India's third and fourth dropped catches occurred in rapid succession during the fifth over, both bowled by left-arm spinner Sree Charani. On the third ball of the over, Bangladesh’s Sobhana Mostary drove a full delivery hard toward cover. Nandni Sharma moved swiftly to her left and dived, getting both hands to the ball, but failed to secure the catch.Just two deliveries later, the fourth error unfolded. Opening batter Juairiya Ferdous attempted a slog sweep, sending a high top-edge flying toward short third. Nandni Sharma covered the ground rapidly and threw herself into another dive, but the ball once again slipped out of her grasp. These back-to-back blunders by the same fielder left the bowler frustrated and rounded out a chaotic, record-breaking powerplay for India.

India Women win against Bangladesh Women by 5 wickets
Bangladesh Women posted a total of 136 for 8 after winning the toss and opting to bat first. Despite losing opener Dilara Akter early to Renuka Singh Thakur, Bangladesh capitalized heavily on India's abysmal powerplay fielding.Opener Juairiya Ferdous top-scored with a 31-ball 33, surviving three dropped catches, while Sobhana Mostary contributed 22. Captain Nigar Sultana anchored the middle overs with a steady 32. However, India's spinners successfully pulled back the momentum in the death overs. Left-arm spinner Radha Yadav dismantled the lineup with an impressive 3 for 28. She was excellently supported by Sree Charani, who took 2 wickets to become India's highest-ever wicket-taker in a single T20 World Cup edition, putting the brakes on Bangladesh's finish
India Women chased down the 137-run target comfortably, finishing on 139 for 5 in 16.5 overs to seal a 5-wicket victory.Opener Shafali Verma anchored the chase perfectly, smashing a crucial half-century with 51 runs off 34 balls before getting caught off Rabeya Khan. She put on a solid 41-run opening partnership with Smriti Mandhana, who contributed 13. Jemimah Rodrigues then kept the run rate high with an aggressive 24 runs off just 15 deliveries.Despite a minor middle-order stumble where Bangladesh's Rabeya Khan took 2 for 21, India's victory was never in doubt. Harmanpreet Kaur and Richa Ghosh safely guided the team across the finish line with 19 balls to spare.
