The IPL 2026 fever has already been running in the streets and on social media. The fans are excited as there are only a few more weeks left until the 2026 edition of the Indian Premier League begins. The teams have started their preparation for the tournament. Many players have already joined their respective teams and there is plenty of pre-tournament shooting and practice going on. In this article we take a look at what is going on with the Chennai Super Kings side in the 2026 IPL Diaries. 

Chennai Super Kings franchise started the day with a video which shows the sneak peak into batter Urvil Patel’s Kit bag. Urvil Patel was seen taking through what all was there in his kit bag and former SK player Aniruddha Srikkanth was the host in this video. Watch the adorable video here. 

They then posted a Sanju Samson poster with the caption β€œIce in his eyes. Fire in his game. India takes on England in the second semi-final later today and Sanju Samson is ready to open the batting for India. Chennai Super Kings made a massive signing pre tournament when they traded Sanju Samson from RR and the wicket-keeper batter will wear yellow in the coming season. 

Chennai Super Kings captain Ruturaj Gaikwad has arrived at the camp and has started his training for the upcoming edition. Ruturaj has been one of the leading run getters for CSK in the last few seasons and a lot will depend on his performance. CSK also shared a video where Ruturaj Gaikwad was spotted smashing a pull during the net session and with Ayush Mhatre watching it from behind and looking stunned at the timing of that stroke.
