The Sunrisers Hyderabad star batter Ishan Kishan has scored yet another half-century in this season. He has been one of their most consistent batters in the season with some phenomenal knocks. On the other end, Heinrich Klaasen has also supported him with another fabulous half-century. Both batters seem to be carrying on from where they left off in the previous match against the Chennai Super Kings. They have laid the foundation for a strong total and SRH seem to be running away with the game at the moment.

This duo have been the backbone of the SRH batting unit with some fine performances all around. Ishan Kishan and Heinrich Klaasen have been brilliant in capitalising the middle overs against the spin attack of RCB. Suyash Sharma and Krunal Pandya haven't been able to crack the code and very little was expected of them as well in the flat track at Hyderabad. SRH have caused much damage to the RCB side and it will be interesting to see if they will be able to bounce back in the second innings.

Explosive half-centuries from Ishan Kishan and Heinrich Klaasen leave RCB under pressure

The tracks at Hyderabad have always been one-sided favouring the batters and today has been no exception. At first it was the prolific opening duo of Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head taking on the RCB bowling attack in the powerplay. Rasikh Salam did well to take the early wicket of Travis Head but that paved the way for the explosive Ishan Kishan to come in and make an impact. After the wicket of Abhishek Sharma, they did not hesitate from hitting the boundaries and they swung their bat with authority. Heinrich Klaasen and Ishan Kishan put up a staggering partnership of 113 runs and it was a much needed one for the men in orange.

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru have found themselves trailing all along the game with some decent bowling. The power of the Sunrisers Hyderabad was too much for RCB to contain in the first innings. It will be a tough mountain to climb for RCB in the second innings. Virat Kohli will be the man that RCB will have their hopes pinned on as he has been carrying the batting unit on his shoulders. RCB haven't chased a target above 250 in their entire IPL history and this will be one record-breaking night. But more than a victory, RCB will be eyeing to reach the safe zone which prevents them from slipping from their spot at the top of the table. That will be the ultimate goal for the men in red and black today and RCB will be looking to rewrite history along with it as well.
