Ishan Kishan seemed to have left no stone unturned as his Instagram Post once again takes a dig at CSK fans getting more online eye grabs. Ishan Kishan’s sublime 70 off 47 balls while chasing 181 against CSK at Chepauk helped SRH to qualify for the playoffs. After the win, Ishan was seen to mock CSK fans with a “whistle podu” sign and then send off the hand gestures that were not accepted well by the Yellove army.

The wicket-keeper batsman once again came into talks as he posted a series of pictures of his batting last night on his Instagram account with a caption, “The only thing louder than the whistles was the bat. Into the playoffs,”

THe 27 years old has been facing enough criticism from CSK fans for this unnecessary and over-the-top attitude and behaviour.

Ishan has now taken his tally to 490 runs from 13 innings this season and is currently 7th in the race for the Orange Cap.

Ishan Kishan spoke about his challenges after winning the Player of the Match award

In a tricky pitch situation happening at Chepauk on May 18th, CSK posted 181 for SRH to chase, but, unfortunately, SRH openers Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma fell early. The match momentum shifted majorly with Ishan Kishan and Heinrich Kalssen’s partnership that took the game away from CSK Fans. After his match-winning 70 and winning the Player of the Match, Ishan Kishan spoke about how he analysed the tricky pitch while he was wicketkeeping, noticing the spinners and slower balls were going to pose a threat. He said he adopted his batting accordingly, as a third batter wanted to contribute to finishing the game.

“I think, when I was wicket-keeping, I just felt like this wicket is not easy. I still felt chasing this total is going to be a bit too much because, the wicket was not at all easy, especially when spinners were bowling and those slow balls working out very well, but at the same time, as a number three batter, I just felt, my job is to just try and finish the game because, batters coming in, especially at the back end, it's difficult for them to take singles and at the same time score boundaries. So I had to just play it till the last over,” he said.

Sunrisers Hyderabad will finish their league stage game with a match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in Hyderabad on Friday.
