Kolkata Knight Riders haven’t had the best of starts in the 19th edition of the Indian Premier League, losing as many as six matches without a win in their bag. Before the season, the franchise lost their prime bowlers and batters due to injury, eventually resulting in a not-so-good start to the tournament.
With their on field performance not going as planned, a few of the decisions have also not gone their way which made fans unhappy. From the Mumbai Indians vs Kolkata Knight Riders toss not being shown, to Digvesh Rathi’s catch in LSG vs KKR match to recent controversy of Raghuvanshi’s run out in previous game.
3️⃣ incidents that have happened with KKR so far this season and @BCCI has remained silent on them : ▫️Toss result against MI was not shown properly ▫️Digvesh’s catch was not reviewed and there was a foot touch involved ▫️Raghuvanshi was given out in the wrong manner pic.twitter.com/zJyOr6qMAD

Fans got angry on BCCI
The fans have questioned the BCCI on all three incidents and have felt that the top body has been biased to the franchise in the ongoing season. Fans have not just questioned but even got angry on the board of control for cricket in India to let this happen to Ajinkya Rahane’s KKR.
On the positive note, KKR has finally managed to get on track again by winning two games on the trot. KKR has been able to win a home as well as well away game; beating Rajasthan Royals at home and Lucknow Super Giants in Lucknow.
KKR will play their next game against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Hyderabad on 3 May 2026.
