India batter KL Rahul has begun his preparations for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League 2026.
Ahead of the new IPL campaign, Rahul was recently spotted training in the nets in Mumbai.
The wicketkeeper-batter was photographed putting in an intense practice session at the iconic Shivaji Park as he gears up for the tournament.

Images circulating on social media showed Rahul spending long hours in the nets, focusing on his batting and sharpening his skills before the start of the highly anticipated season. Rahul has been one of the most consistent performers in IPL history. Across his IPL career so far, the stylish right-hander has scored over 4,700 runs in the tournament, including multiple centuries and more than 30 half-centuries.

In the 2025 IPL season, Rahul continued to deliver with the bat, scoring around 520 runs in 14 matches, playing a key role for his side with several crucial knocks. With the IPL 2026 season fast approaching, Rahul will be aiming to carry that form into the new campaign. His recent training session suggests he is determined to enter the tournament fully prepared and make another strong impact with the bat.
