Liam Livingstone who went unsold in Round 1 was later sold to SRH for 13 Crore in the accelerated Auction round. Livingstone was purchased by RCB at the IPL 2025 mega auction for ₹8.75 crore. He had a tough time at RCB last season as in eight innings, the right-handed batter scored 112 runs at an average of 16 and a strike rate of 133.33, hitting one half-century. With the ball, he picked up two wickets at an economy rate of 8.44.
But he contributed a handy 25 off 15 in the IPL 2025 final, but had a poor season overall. Overall, the England cricketer has the played 49 IPL matches and can contribute very well with both bat and ball. Sunrisers are known as a team of aggressive batters with the likes of Abhishek, Head and Klassen so Livingstone will fit into the Orange Army very well in the upcoming IPL 2026.
