The SunRisers Hyderabad were bowled out for their lowest-ever IPL total for just 86 runs on May 12, 2026 as they locked horns against the Gujarat Titans. The fifties from Sai Sudharsan and Washington Sundar set things up for the Titans in the first innings, followed by a formidable bowling display by the home team in Ahmedabad. On Hyderabad's side, no batter could manage to cross the 20-run mark, ultimately leading to their worst total in the history of the league.
96 vs MI- IPL 2019
In the 19th league stage game of the IPL 2019, the Mumbai Indians bundled the Hyderabad-based franchise on just 96 runs to hand them a 40-run defeat. The game saw MI’s Alzarri Joseph wreaking havoc with his six wickets as he finished with the figures of 6/12. Deepak Hooda was the only player on SunRisers’ side to have scored 20 runs that night.
113 vs MI- IPL 2015
On May 17, 2015, the Orange Army was handed another embarrassing defeat as the Mumbai Indians dismantled their batting lineup at just 113 runs in 20 overs. Mitchell McClenaghan recorded the figures of 3/16 in four overs to give the Hyderabad-based franchise some nightmares. While KL Rahul tried to add some runs on the scoreboard, he was dismissed on 25 in 24 deliveries. In return, brilliant knocks from Lendl Simmons and Parthiv Patel easily guided the side to a nine-wicket win.
113 vs KKR- IPL 2024
The Orange Army, after enjoying a record-breaking IPL 2024 season and finishing second in the points table, entered the Finale with high hopes. However, their dreams were brutally crushed by the Shreyas Iyer-led side, who after bundling the SunRisers at just 113, one of their lowest totals, went on to lift the cup after an eight-wicket win. Players like Andre Russell, Mitchell Starc and Harshit Rana picked up a cumulative seven wickets to send chills down SRH’s spine.
