Pitch Report
Average first innings score at this venue is 166 and out of the 100 matches played at this venue, teams winning that were chasing have a slightly better record compared to teams batting first. The new re-laid surface has been good for batting and with shorter boundaries we can expect plenty of sixes at this venue. There will be some help for the pacers with the new ball and it is a balanced venue. Batting will get easier in the second innings which will mean teams will prefer chasing.
