Former Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma had a hilarious warning for Chennai Super Kings batter Sarfraz Khan. Khan met Sharma, whom he has played under in the Indian cricket team, during the net sessions of CSK and MI ahead of the second El-Clasico of the season on Saturday at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk. A video from the match eve has been doing rounds on social media, where Sharma was seen giving a hilarious warning to Khan, who he affectionately calls Sarfu.

In a video posted by the Mumbai Indians, Khan could be seen approaching Sharma during his batting session. The CSK star asked if he could get a bat from the former MI skipper. Sharma, who recently turned 39, was heard replying, “Baad mei baat karta hu, mujhe kuch bolne ka tha lekin woh peeche khada hai na (I will talk to you later. Wanted to say something, but he is standing there, no (pointing towards the cameraman).”

The video was captioned, “Rohit bhai kya bolne wale the..woh raaz bhi unhi ke saath reh gaya.” (What did Rohit Bhai want to say, the secret stayed with him as well.) Needless to say, the video went viral on social media within no time, and fans couldn’t hold themselves from appreciating Sharma’s raw and hilarious side as well as his brother-like bond with Sarfaraz Khan.

Former Indian team captains MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma reunited ahead of El-Clasico 2.0

In another video that has spread like wildfire on social media, former Indian team skippers MS Dhoni reunited with Rohit Sharma. The video showcases both the former captains shaking hands and engaging in a friendly conversation. Notably, Sharma and Dhoni are currently sidelined due to their respective injuries.

While Sharma has been out of action since MI’s clash against RCB following his hamstring injury, Dhoni is yet to play his first game of the season. Though videos of both players sweating it out in the nets have been going viral before every game, mystery around their participation in the next game continues. Fans are waiting for their beloved icons to step out together for probably the last time, since Dhoni is nearing the end of his IPL career, but no clarity has been given from the management of both camps yet.
