LSG bowler, Mohammad Shami in a recent podcast with Shubhankar Mishra revealed his top 4 picks for the 2026 tournament. Shami, who was picked up by the LSG management in a cash trade of INR 10 Crores, was recently seen in a podcast with Shubhankar Mishra.

The 33 year old bowler revealed RCB,LSG, KKR and PBKS as his top picks. RCB became the defending champions for this season after winning it the last year against PBKS. They have continued their winning streak from 2025 by securing a victory against SRH in the inaugural match of 2026 where they chased 202 in twenty overs. RCB has continued with Rajat Patidar as their captain who also has the guidance of the former captain Virat Kohli by his side. Virat Kohli scored 68 runs while chasing against SRH hinting at his great form ahead of the tournament.

KKR have had a rough start after losing against Mumbai in the Wankhede stadium where they struggled to defend 220 against the batters of MI. The KKR batters looked strong against the deadly bowlers of MI but their bowlers struggled to pick wickets which led to a 150 run opening partnership between Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton.
