The Madhya Pradesh Premier League 2026 has finally arrived at its conclusion and the fans will be expecting an absolute thriller in the finals at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. There were some crucial changes that were introduced in the tournament with the expansion of teams from 7 to 10. Malwa Stallions, Ujjain Falcons, and Royal Nimar Eagles were the new entries and one of them made it to the Semi-Finals. The teams have gained popularity due to the presence of the elite players such as Rajat Patidar and Venkatesh Iyer. After 47 games of intense battle between the 10 teams, MPL 2026 will finally crown one of them as champions.

Chambal Ghariyals topped the group stage with a phenomenal unbeaten performance and none of the teams could really find a way to get past them. Royal Nimar Eagles were making their debut in the season and they have exhibited some strong all-round displays to finish second in the group. The opposition for the Royal Nimar Eagles hasn’t been finalized yet and the second Semi-Finals is all set to be played between Chambal Ghariyals and Jabalpur Royal Lions. The final match promises to be a belter of a game with some exciting action from the domestic stars.

Light showers could interrupt the grand finale in Indore

The weather conditions in Indore are expected to be cloudy with a shower in the area and the game could be interrupted. It comes as no surprise as it is the monsoon weather and rain has already begun to play spoilsport with the first Semi-Finals being washed out.

Reserve day in place for MPL 2026 Finals

As per the rules of the MPL 2026 season, in case the Finals are interrupted by rain and play doesn’t take place, there will be a reserve day for the match to be played. However in the Semi-Finals, the teams with the higher position on the points table will advance to the final in case of a match being washed out due to rain.
