Shikhar Dhawan marries his girlfriend Sophie Shine on 21 February in a private wedding ceremony. Shilkhar posted the photos on Instagram, revealing his wedding to his followers. Virat Kohli, who is regarded as Dhawan’s best friend, congratulated him by commenting “Mubarkaan jatt ji” on Instagram. 

Shikhar and Sophie reportedly had been dating for over a year. The duo was spotted together first during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in February in Dubai.

Cricketer Yuzvedra Chahal also posted the wedding photos of his former India teammate and friend Shikhar on Instagram, saying, “Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai."

Notably, this is Dhawan’s second marriage. He legally parted ways with his former wife, Aesha Mukherjee, in October 2023, ending their 11-year relationship. With Aesha, Shikhar has one child named Zoravar. While approving the divorce, a Delhi court stated that Dhawan went through mental stress and added that his former wife had distanced him from his only child.

Who is Sophie Shine?

As per her LinkedIn profile, Sophie is from Ireland and works as a product consultant. She is currently serving as Second Vice President, Product Consultant at Northern Trust Corporation, a financial services company based in the United States.

Sophie has a qualification in marketing and management from the Limerick Institute of Technology. As per the reports, she met Shikhar Dhawan in the UAE, where she is presently based. Since the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the couple has been spotted together multiple times during media conclaves and in other events. Now they have married and begun their new life.
