In a rain-driven game reduced to 11 overs in Guwahati, the Rajasthan Royals bamboozled the Mumbai Indians, bowling a 150-run total, to be more specific, the opening pair, Yashasvi Jaiswal and 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, once again go berserk with their willow. Jaiswal scored a 32-ball 77, remaining unbeaten, and Vaibhav made a quickfire 39 in 14 balls before being taken out by Shardul Thakur.

In reply to RR’s huge score, the Mumbai Indians look forward to an explosive start too, but fall prey to Jofra Archer and Nandre Burger’s spell in the power play. MI in the first five overs were down to 46/5. Jofra took Ryan Rickleton in the first spell, and then Nandre put the final nail in the coffin, taking Surya Kumar Yadav, and then Sandeep Sharma sent Rohit Sharma back to the pavilion

Facing up against India seam king Bumrah for the first time, RR’s 15-year-old prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi clubbed a six off the first delivery of the second over before smashing another maximum in the same over.

Sooryavanshi and Jaiswal then took on left-arm seamer Trent Boult for a humongous three sixes in the subsequent over as RR raced past 50 in only 2.4 deliveries, equalling their fastest team fifty in IPL history and the joint-second quickest ever in the tournament. Viabhav was in front foot until he got out, then Jaiswal took matters into his own hands to destroy the MI bowlers.

Vaibhav is just a prodigy at what he is doing at 15 years, just pure out of the world talent. He now has the most sixes ( 35*) as a teenager in IPL history, surpassing Pant. RR bowling then dismantled the MI lineup with Nandre Burger taking 2 wickets and Ravi Bishnoi again nailing the middle over, taking 2 wickets, and Jofra Archer, Tushar Deshpande, and Sandeep Sharma have 1 wicket each.
