The Punjab Kings have been outrageous in the power play as Prabhsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya were just unstoppable. Prabhsimran smashed Mukesh Kumar for 6 fours in an over and he is just the 3rd player to achieve the feat in the TATA IPL. To chase a target such as this, the Kings have gotten off to the perfect start and from now it will be just about keeping their composure. They still do have plenty to do in the match but Prabhsimran and Priyansh just laid the perfect foundation for the rest of the batters to come out and express themselves. With the form of Shreyas Iyer, the Punjab Kings could be in for a historic run-chase out there in the middle.

Mukesh Kumar was given the ball in the final over of the power play in the hope that he could generate some momentum for the Delhi Capitals. Prabhsimran Singh looked in fabulous touch and he decided to maximise the last over of the power play. He smashed Mukesh for 6 fours on the trot all across the park. With this over, there was some serious pressure building over the Delhi Capitals, as Prabhsimran Singh looked keen to win the game for his side single-handedly.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Capitals have had a massive setback as Lungisani Ngidi was taken off the field in an ambulance due to a head injury and Dushmantha Chameera has replaced him. The impact of Ngidi could be missing and they will be hopeful that Dushmantha Chameera can take his place quite well. Axar Patel did brilliantly to get rid of Priyansh Arya and following that wicket, Kuldeep Yadav had dismissed Prabhsimran Singh as well. If the Capitals manage to chip away with a few more wickets, they could be well and truly in control of the game.

Prithvi Shaw showed absolutely no mercy to Shivam Mavi with his amazing timing as he smashed Shivam Mavi for 6 fours in just an over. Shaw was a totally different player back then and the bowlers used to fear bowling to him in the power play. He was the 2nd batter to achieve the feat.

Ajinkya Rahane has smashed 6 fours in an over against Sreenath Aravind in 2012 and that was some show from the current KKR skipper. Sreenath Arvind tried to get the better off the batter but there was only one man who prevailed in the contest. Rahane was the first batter in the history of the IPL to score 6 fours in an over.
