Rajasthan Royals batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi once again let his bat do all the talking! The youngest batting sensation in the global cricketing sphere, Sooryavanshi recorded his second century of the IPL. The 15-year-old lad achieved the feat during the Royals’ clash against SunRisers Hyderabad at home, Sawai ManSingh Stadium in Jaipur. The game that saw the return of SRH skipper Pat Cummins, had the hosts batting first.
Sooryavanshi, who has risen to fame with his power-hitting skills, went all guns blazing right from the beginning. After hitting a 15-ball fifty against the SRH giants, the youngster came up with a 36-ball ton. With this, the RR batter recorded his second century of his IPL career. He celebrated the milestone by removing his helmet, gloves and making a heart sign, followed by a salute towards the dug out.
However, the Bihar cricketer utilized just one ball more to level his own record of hitting the second-fastest century in the history of the tournament. However, he is the first uncapped batter to score two hundreds in IPL history. In addition to it, the child prodigy became the youngest batter to score 1000 runs in T20 cricket. Sooryavanshi, later, got dismissed on 103 off 37 deliveries, with five boundaries and huge 12 sixes
