There’s a confidence in his expression, the way he bats and his smouldering knock of 80 the last evening that came off just 39 odd deliveries against Mumbai served a classic example in case. Prabhsimran Singh has opened up about the impact Yuvraj Singh has had on his game, revealing that the former India star played a key role in shaping his mindset during the off-season.

The young batter shared that he spent time working with Yuvraj, focusing not just on technique but also on how to build an innings.

According to Prabhsimran, one of the biggest takeaways from those sessions was learning to trust his game and make better use of the time he has at the crease.

“I have worked with Yuvi paaji in the off season, he told me I have a lot of time and I should bat long,” he said, highlighting the simple yet important advice he received.
