Indian batter and Former Under 19 World Cup captain, Prithvi Shaw has announced his engagement to girlfriend and fashion influencer Akriti Agarwal. This happened on March 8 when he shared a series of pictures on social media. There was a heart felt Instagram post from Prithvi Shaw and immediately they couple got a flurry of congrultory messages. Prithvi Shaw is set to represent Delhi Capitals in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League 2026. Prithvi Shaw took it to Instagram and put up six photos with each one being really good. Akriti Agarwal is a social media influencer and an actress from Lucknow who went to Mumbai. She has a strong online following of more than 3 million Instagram. She has also acted in a film called Trimukha. Shaw and Akriti Agarwal have been spotted on multiple occasions with the most recent being in the wedding of Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandhok.
Prithvi Shaw has had his struggles over the last few years on the cricket field and there has also been plenty of rumours going on about his off the field. However since the last year he has tried to make a comeback and shifted from Mumbai to Maharashtra and performed well in the last domestic season. He was also picked up by Delhi Capitals in the IPL Auction and is set to represent the side in the upcoming season.
