The 2026 season of the Pakistan Super League has gotten underway on 26th March. The PSL is clashing with the IPL this year as both are played at same time. There has also been two new franchises added this season. 40 matches will be played in the group stage with each team playing 10 matches. The top four team will qualify for the playoffs with the top two sides playing the Qualifier 1 and having the extra chance to reach the Final. The top four teams from the points table will qualify for the playoffs. The top two sides will face off in the Qualifier 1. The winner of that match will go directly to the Final while the loser of that match will play the winner of the Eliminator in Qualifier 2. The sides that finish third and fourth will play in the eliminator of the IPL. The loser of the Eliminator will get knocked out while the winner of that game will play the loser of Qualifier 1 in Qualifier 2. The winner of the Qualifier 2 will play the winner of Qualifier 1 in the Final of the Pakistan Super League 2026.
