The Chennai Super Kings debutant Ramakrishna Ghosh took a spectacular grab to see the end of Will Jacks in the 2nd over of the game. Anshul Kamboj was given the new ball in the 2nd over and he bowled it brilliantly at the good length and Will Jacks, top-edged the ball. It will be a huge blow to the Mumbai Indians as the Englishman was in fine touch in the previous match. CSK have drawn first blood at the Chepauk and they will be high on confidence as they have got a wicket in a jiffy.

Ryan Rickelton and Will Jacks caused much of the damage against the Sunrisers Hyderabad with a terrific opening partnership. The Chennai Super Kings will be mighty relieved to see the end of Will Jacks as he is an absolute menace in the powerplay. Anshul Kamboj and Mukesh Choudhary have been clinical with the new ball as they have executed their plans well. These two will have to keep things tight in the powerplay as the batters could pounce on any marginal error.

Rickelton anchors MI as big-hitters eye massive total

The Mumbai Indians will feel like they have lost a crucial wicket in the power play with the loss of Will Jacks. Last time out, Jacks and Rickelton laid the foundation for a powerful finish towards the end and the slowing up in the middle overs, did not affect them a lot. Ryan Rickelton will have to carry on from where he left off against the Sunrisers Hyderabad as they need to put up a strong total on board. They still do have plenty of batting to come down the order and they have enough finishers in their batting unit. The. Mumbai Indians will be hopeful that their batting unit can put no foot wrong tonight as they desperately need a victory in this match. They will be looking at a total above 190 as they will have a higher chance of defending the total.

The Chennai Super Kings will be looking to limit the Mumbai Indians to a decent total. Akeal Hosein isn't there this time out to repeat the heroics of the previous game and Noor Ahmad will have to partner up with the debutant. They will be hoping to gain control of the game as soon as possible as Rickelton can cause plenty of damage to the side.

Ryan Rickelton and Naman Dhir haven't been on the backfoot since the first wicket as the boundaries have been flowing thick and fast. With the likes of Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma and Hardik Pandya still to come, they will be aiming for a massive total on board. All the hopes will be pinned on Ryan Rickelton to get the Mumbai Indians to the safe zone.
