Rajasthan Royals all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja unleashed his inner ‘Pushpa’ and brought out the ‘Jhukega nahin’ celebration after ending Nitish Kumar Reddy’s innings. The Royals were up against the SunRisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator clash of the IPL 2026 on Wednesday, May 27 at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh. After being invited to bat first, the Vaibhav Sooryavanshi-led RR’s batting lineup posted a competitive total of 243 runs with the loss of eight wickets.

SRH bowlers were a total flop, still the team was hoping to bounce back with the bat and aiming to make a commanding comeback. However, the Royals extended their dominance on the field and ended up dismantling the SRH batting lineup. During the second innings, RR star, Ravindra Jadeja pulled off the iconic ‘Pushpa’ celebration after he dismissed Nitish Kumar Reddy to give the rivals another setback.

While almost all the batters on Pat Cummins’ side failed to perform, Reddy was aiming to give the side some stability. He posted 38 runs off 20 balls with a combination of three boundaries and two maximums. However, his knock was brought to an end off a Jadeja delivery after being caught out by Dasun Shanaka.

As long as you play competitive cricket, you shouldn't doubt your skill levels: Heinrich Klassen before SRH’s batting collapse

Earlier before the toss, Heinrich Klassen opened up on his transformation from an international cricketer to a franchise cricketer. “I think it's always playing in the back of your mind. But I think people put a lot of emphasis on it. They shouldn't. As long as you play competitive cricket, you shouldn't doubt your skill levels. And I think that's what's maybe wrong. But I still believe in my skill. I still want to be the best cricketer, or middle-order batter in the world. So for me, it's just maybe changing the way I go about things before tournaments,” he said.

“The only positive thing that's really out there is every time you get into a competition like this, you're mentally fresh. It's not like you're coming back off a World Cup that's quite draining or anything like that. So I'm always fresh going into a tournament. It's just your preparation, you have to tweak a little bit to be able to perform,” he went on to say.

In Wednesday’s game, Klassen was one of the big names who failed to perform in the key game. He could post only 18 runs off 10 deliveries with a combination of 2 boundaries and one maximum. Apart from him, Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, Ishan Kishan, and skipper Pat Cummins could manage to score 0, 17, 33, and 1 runs, respectively.
