
The Rajasthan Royals all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has opened up on the support shown by the former RR skipper Shane Warne in the initial days of his career. Jadeja claimed that he had a bit of nerves coming into the IPL after the U-19 games but he was backed by Shane Warne to perform well.
He took the role of a captain cum mentor and he is the only player to have lifted the IPL title in such a fashion. Jadeja stated that he was grateful for the opportunity and support shown to him in the initial stages of his career.
“Shane Warne had a huge impact on my life because when I came from the U-19s and it was my first year in the IPL. He gave this platform an opportunity to play matches. He gave me the freedom to show off my talent as a youngster. I liked seeing such big players backing and supporting me,” said Ravindra Jadeja on the role of the former RR skipper Shane Warne in shaping the career of the star all-rounder in the TATA IPL.
