Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant lauded Ravi Tamta, an innovator from Almora district Uttarakhand, as he conducted a test flight of his single-seater electric flying vehicle. Pant, who hails from Roorkee, Uttarakhand, took to social media and heaped praise on Tamta’s innovation, stating that for them, even sky is not the limit. Notably, the 28-year-old is currently touring Sri Lanka for a two-match Test series, kicking off on August 15. Before that, the team is clashing against the hosts for a three-day warm-up game.
On X, Pant lauded the innovation of Tamta and said that people from the state should continue to move forward and up with their potential. “Big Congratulations .Together let’s keep growing our beautiful state Uttarakhand. We always had the potential it’s time to believe & trust in ourselves . Former India Wicketkeeper Believes Rishabh Pant Would be Most Important Player in Sri Lanka Series
While Pant has faced a performance slump in the recent months, former India wicketkeeper Deep Dasgupta is still of the opinion that he would be the most important player during the Sri Lanka series. According to Dasgupta, the 28-year-old is a proper cricket geek, who can talk cricket for the entire day. “He is very important for India in this series. Rishabh is a proper cricket geek who can talk cricket for 24 hours. Whenever I’ve spoken to him, it’s always been about cricket. Though from the outside, he probably looks different, he’s a proper cricket guy,” the former cricketer said.
He also labelled Pant as India’s match-winner, stating, “He is India’s match-winner, and it’ll be important for the Indian batters not to be too defensive and take the fight to the opposition bowlers.” Notably, Pant is the highest-active six-hitter in the longest format with 97 sixes in 50 games. He has amassed 3557 runs at 43.37 with eight hundreds and 19 fifties.
