Jofra Archer bowled an exceptional over as he gave away just 4 runs in the over, which slimmed the chances of the Titans chasing the target down.
Speaking during the post-match presentation, Parag revealed that it was actually Dhruv Jurel’s idea to go with Archer in the penultimate over. “I was actually going to switch up the order, so credit to Dhruv Jurel for that,” said the RR skipper. “He asked me to send in Jofra in the 19th,” Parag added.

There wasn’t any real threat for the Royals after the dismissal of Sudharshan and Buttler, but from the 16th over, the tide began to shift in favour of the Gujarat Titans.

But later Dhruv Jurel suggested to switch up the plan and to give Archer the 19th over, which turned out to be a brilliant move as he gave away just 4 runs in the over, leaving plenty of cushion for Tushar Deshpande to bowl the final over. Riyan Parag gave his wicket-keeper the credit for the decision that changed the game in favour of the Royals.
Dhruv Jurel had played a massive role in the victory of the Royals as he scored 75 off 42 balls in the 1st innings to help the Rajasthan Royals set up a defendable total of 210 on board.
