MI to take on RR in Guwahati for Match 13

The Mumbai Indians (MI) take on the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Match 13 of IPL 2026 on Tuesday, at the ACA Stadium (Barsapara), Guwahati. This is a "home" game for RR, as Barsapara Cricket Stadium serves as their secondary home ground. Under the new leadership of Riyan Parag, RR is currently unbeaten with two wins in two games against CSK and GT.

Mumbai Indians have had a mixed start (1W, 1L). They are coming off a defeat to Delhi Capitals and will be happy by the return of Hardik Pandya, who missed the previous game due to illness. The match will also witness the classic statistical rivalry of Jasprit Bumrah and Shimron Hetmyer. Bumrah has dominated this rivalry, dismissing Hetmyer 6 times in just 23 balls in IPL history.

The 15-year-old RR sensation, who has scored 51 and 32 in his first two games, faces his biggest test yet against Boult’s lethal opening spell. Archer’s pace at the death against a resurgent Rohit (who scored 78 recently) will be a critical battle in the final overs. Despite a strong start to 2026 (including a 78 off 38 balls), Rohit has historically struggled against RR, averaging just 20.68, his lowest against any team and recording four ducks.
