The Indian Premier League is undoubtedly one of the biggest and most popular leagues around the world. Apart from popularizing cricket in unknown parts of the world, the league has scaled new heights when it comes to business. Over the years, the franchises have seen massive growth in their valuation, and something similar has happened recently as well. As the IPL 2026 is approaching its end, StockGo has released its latest estimates, according to which franchises are now valued in thousands of crore, underlining how the league has established its name as one of the richest sporting contests in the world.

As per the latest data, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, who won their first IPL title in 2025, is seeded on the top of the list with valuation reportedly around ₹16,706 crore. The Bengaluru-based franchise is known for its massive fan following and a strong brand presence over the years. It has overtaken every other franchise to emerge as the most valuable IPL team. Closely behind them are the Rajasthan Royals at ₹15,300 crore and Mumbai Indians at ₹13,500 crore. While Mumbai Indians are the most successful IPL side historically, the Royals have grown commercially, which has pushed them to the second spot in the franchise valuation rankings.

Chennai Super Kings grab fourth spot in StockGo valuation rankings, PBKS at tenth

The fourth spot on the list has been occupied by the five-time IPL winners Chennai Super Kings with a valuation of ₹11,300 crore. Though the Super Kings are one of the oldest and most decorated franchises, they trail behind the top three in the latest rankings. Apart from them, the new generation teams have also made significant strides.

While the Lucknow Super Giants have reached the ₹10,000 crore mark, the Gujarat Titans stand at ₹9,600 crore, reflecting how a newer franchise has grown commercially in a short span of time. However, heavyweights Kolkata Knight Riders are seventh in the standings at ₹9,500 crore, followed by SunRisers Hyderabad at ₹8,800 crore and Delhi Capitals at ₹8,600 crore. The Punjab Kings are seeded at the bottom of the standings at ₹8,000 crore, and despite consistent efforts to build on and off court, they remain the least-valued franchise among the ten IPL teams.
