Pakistan opener and their highest ranked T20I batter Sahibzada Farhan scored a terrific century against Namibia in the 35th match of the 2026 ICC WT20. This was his first ever T20I century and it has come at a crucial time as Pakistan are playing a must win game against Namibia. Farhan completed his century in just 57 balls and became the second Pakistan batter to score a century in WT20 after Ahmed Shehzad. Farhan was brutal against all the bowlers and played at a terrific strike rate as Pakistan were batting first on a good pitch at the SSC stadium. His knock included 11 fours and 4 sixes. He brought up the milestone with a single against Erasmus. Watch his celebration here.

Sahibzada Farhan completed his half century of 37 balls and then once he went past that landmark, he went all guns blazing and completed his century. He also became the leading run getter in the 2026 WT20 after this knock. Saim Ayub departed early but that did not have an impact on Farhan as he stitched a partnership with Salman Agha and then kept going despite wickets falling from the other end.
Sahibzada Farhan and Shadab Khan took on the bowlers as the death overs went for plenty and Pakistan have gone past the 190 run mark. Farhan completed his century in the 20th over of the innings. He was unbeaten on 99 of 56 at the end of the 19th over and had to wait till the last over to complete his century. It was a memorable moment and the opener has carried his bat through the innings.
Pakistan are placed in Group A and this is a crucial must win match for them to make it to the Super 8 stage. After a disappointing loss against India, it was crucial that they do well against Namibia and take the two points. Pakistan opted to bat first and their aim would have been to put up a big score and on the back of a Farhan century they have posted a very good total and will fancy defending that in the second innings.
