Former Indian batter Shikhar Dhawan surprised his fans by sharing a sangeet night picture with Fiancée Sophie Shine on Instagram. Shikhar Dhawan captioned the picture with “Sangeet Night, Almost the Dhawans’’. Shikhar Dhawan got engaged to Sophie Shine on 2nd January earlier this year. He shared those pictures with ‘’From shared smiles to shared dreams”. After that post there were a lot of rumors going on about the marriage and whether it will be in February.
Well, it looks like the preparations have begun. Immediately after Shikhar Dhawan shared the pictures of Sangeet night, he was showered with plenty of love by the fans. His post currently has more than 2.4 lakh likes and almost a thousand comments.

Shikhar Dhawan has been a player who is loved by many due to his nature on and off the field. Fans were extremely pleased for him after the tough times he went through during the previous marriage. Sophie Shine was first spotted with Shikhar Dhawan during the 2025 Champions Trophy when people started the rumors and the couple later officially confirmed it. Sophie Shine is from Ireland as is an Irish professional who has graduated in Marketing and Management from Limerick Institute. She has also studied at Castleroy College in Ireland. She is currently working in a corporate company in UAE as per reports.
This is the second time that Shikhar Dhawan is getting married and before this he tied the knot with Aesha Mukherji who was based from Melbourne. He also shares a son with his former partner. Due to plenty of issues the couple got divorced in 2023. Shikhar then claimed that he was blocked from everywhere and could not even meet his son. It was a very tough time for Shikhar Dhawan but now he has found his second innings and has given love another chance.
