The Indian star T20I batter Tilak Varma opened up on his conversations with Rohit Sharma regarding his captaincy and on dealing with pressure. He was appointed as the Vice Captain of the Indian T20I side and he remains confident that he could help out Shreyas Iyer. Rohit Sharma’s captaincy tenure with India in T20Is was a successful one as he won the 2024 ICC T20I World Cup and his insights would help Tilak Varma. The Mumbai batter will be hopeful of shaping his mentality in the right way and in assisting Shreyas Iyer during the games.

The two of them have been sharing the dressing room with Mumbai Indians for quite some time and they would have had a lot of conversations. Tilak’s experience vital in assisting Shreyas as T20I vice-captain
India’s T20I side has been undergoing some key changes in the side since winning the 2024 ICC T20I World Cup with Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. The captaincy of Shreyas Iyer will be crucial to India in the long run as the next T20 World Cup is a couple of years away.
