The Royal Challengers Bengaluru reached a safe total on board and the bowlers will have to do the rest. Tim David had inspected the ball mid-game in the 1st innings and he had a quick conversation with the umpires, while checking the seam of the ball.
In the match between the Mumbai Indians and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, there was an interesting exchange between the on-field umpires and Tim David. He had hit a six off the previous delivery, and the old ball was nowhere to be found. The Australian batter was seen to be checking the seam of the ball as the new ball was taken. Tim David was checking the shape of the ball as it felt irregular to him at first glance.
Shortly after, he had a short exchange with Rohit Sharma and Jithesh Sharma as well, and it seemed like he was commenting on the ball. The fans took it to social media as they felt it was hilarious for a batter to check the seam and shape of the new ball.

Tim David’s explosive cameo powers Royal Challengers Bengaluru to 240.
Tim David walked out to bat at number 4, and he was sent in to land a couple of huge blows for his side. He fulfilled his role to perfection as he scored a power-packed cameo of 34 runs off just 16 balls, including 2 fours and 3 sixes, striking at 212.5. David was able to find the boundary with ease as he even got the better of Jasprit Bumrah. The last over of Trent Boult was fantastic as he nailed his deliveries and got the wicket off Jithesh Sharma. But off the last ball of the over, Tim David smashed a six off a loose full toss off Trent Boult. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru finished at 240/4 after the 20 overs.
The Royal Challengers Bengaluru got to a commanding total on board and their bowling unit will have to do the rest. The Mumbai Indians have a strong batting unit and they will have to be disciplined with their lengths to keep the hosts out of the game.
